Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions
This is a unique convention experience! We’re looking for some hard-working volunteers that don't mind rolling up their sleeves and pitching in where ever they are needed! Duties range from helping to load and unload the large banners, unload items from the truck, inventory items, unpack boxes, set up committee areas and everything in between.
Qualifications:
Willingness: To be of service.
Enthusiasm: Energetic and having a positive attitude, help motivate your Team and others.
Reliability: Follow through on your commitment, take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Communication: Ability to listen follow direction and/or instructions and communicate well.
Flexibility: Can you go from one position to various positions that may need filling at a moment’s notice.
Integrity: Work hard, be honest and know your limits and ask for help when you need it.
Teamwork: Volunteering involves many members who are trying to reach the same goal. A volunteer should be able to work well with others in a team. You should be able to follow directions.

Serenity Keepers are all about keeping people moving safely and efficiently throughout the convention no matter what location they are volunteering.
Ensure that all attendees are wearing a current year FRCNA registration badge;
Assist with crowd control; and
Collect tickets/check for wrist bands for paid hard ticket events.
Qualifications:
Willingness to serve. Suggested at least 2 years clean and skilled at conflict resolution.
Enthusiasm: Energetic and having a positive attitude, help motivate your Team and others.
Reliability: Follow through on your commitment, take initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Hospitality/Escape Room keeps the fun going in the room! Ensure each member in the room has a registration badge., that no one is brining in food to eat in the room which is not allowed, contact a FRCNA BOD member if there is any arguing, fighting, or infringing upon others. Assist with the daily Escape Room Adventures and Escape Room.

Your primary responsibility is to run a cash register in the merchandise room whether it is for cash or credit charges and bag items purchased by customers.
Qualifications: Please keep in mind that this position has a minimum clean time requirement of 4 years to be approved to run a register. If necessary, you may be scheduled to volunteer in a different area.

Your primary responsibility is to cover (man) the merchandise tables, straighten and organize the FRCNA merchandise being sold, and answering any questions pertaining to the sale of retail items.

Your primary responsibility is to fulfill the duties at the pre-registration desk.
Duties include: verifying identity of those picking up their registration packets, confirming the content of their bag(s), ensuring that they receive all purchased tickets, and having them sign off upon receipt. A complete description will be available at the convention desk.

Your primary responsibility is to fulfill the duties at the registration desk. Duties include: accepting payment for registration and tickets for paid events, providing registration packets, and answering questions, if needed. A complete description will be available at the convention.

The Marathon Meeting at FRCNA is the only location in the convention area that a registration badge is not required. The Marathon Meeting Chair should ensure no one is sleeping or using the area as a private room, displaying disruptive behavior, fighting, or infringing upon others.
